It’s Almost Curtains Time for “The Cancer”(Aka Allen Iverson)
Wow, that didn’t take long did it? We all knew it was just a matter of time before Allen Iverson showed his true selfish colors and started whining about his minutes and shots down in Memphis. The Grizzlies couldn’t even get past week 1 of their season before this overrated selfish gunner started whining to anyone who would listen that he wasn’t happy about his role coming off the bench. You would think that this punk would be intelligent enough to realize that this type of selfishness is the sole reason why only 1 team even offered his ass a contract in the offseason and that if he wants ANY team to sign his butt after this season than he had best behave and be a “team player”. But, apparently AI doesn’t care. “Go look at my resume and that will show you that I’m not a sixth man,” Iverson said. “I don’t think it has anything to do with me being selfish. It’s just who I am. I don’t want to change what gave me all the success that I’ve had since I’ve been in this league.” Unbelievable. What the hell was Memphis thinking signing this guy in the offseason?
The New Orleans Saints are 7-0 but Overrated
I know, I know. The Saints are 7-0 and could very well score the most points offensively in league history. That’s all fine and dandy. But guess what, my friends? Their defense is OVERRATED and NOT good enough to win a Super Bowl with. Disagree with me all you want, but remember where you heard it first. I’ve seen the Saints play a lot this season. The offense is spectacular but it can be contained. #1, New Orleans does NOT have a dominant running game. Sure they are #4 in rushing right now, but when Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas are your top two rushers you do NOT have a dominant ground game. #2, New Orleans’ defense has given up 22 points or more in 5 of it’s 7 games. The only two teams to not do it were the Jets and their rookie Qb Mark Sanchez and the Bills and their popgun offense. Good teams can and will score points on New Orleans. What happens when New Orleans faces an Indy, Pittsburgh or New England and have to match up with teams that bring above average offenses and defenses to the table? New Orleans may roll thru the regular season and win the NFC Championship but it will be a different story come Super Bowl time. IF they are fortunate enough to make it. OVERRATED my friends.
THREE WORDS for The National Organization for Women… SHUT UP YOU!
Let me say this off the top. I think Oakland Raiders head coach is a bum of the 1st order, a BAD head coach and a COWARD “if” the stories of him punching his assistant head coach and former wife and girlfriend are true. Having said all that, who the hell gives The National Organization for Women the right to demand that Cable be suspended because he has a history of battering women? #1, the guy has NEVER been convicted of it. #2, he freely admits he made a mistake 20 years ago for apparently slapping his 1st wife after finding out she cheated on him. Hey, listen, I know firsthand how men get the short end of the stick in these types of things. The minute the woman opens her mouth up everyone rushes to her side and automatically assumes the guy is in the wrong. I’ve been hit by a woman many times before and I admit I slapped her back one time after I couldn’t take it no more. Does that make me a bad guy? Well, I say don’t judge people if you haven’t walked in their shoes. The bottom line is how do we know when women themselves instigate things by putting their hands on the guy? Why is that ok? Also, who can honestly say they would NOT put their hand on their wife if they came home and found her cheating on you? I know I would be awfully pissed off about it that’s for sure. Let Cable coach games and let the police and courts handle law. Ok?
